Module 7 Summary

In module 7, I learned about different wireless networks. And how they changed the internet for the better. When I was 10 or 11 I got my first mobile phone. When connecting to cell service, web pages would take much longer to load and video streaming was so slow. Up until recently, with the wide adoption of 4g and 5g, these services have been so much better to use. This has improved the productivity and enjoyment of using your phone.

Data compression algorithms have also gotten better. This allows for more data sent and received, which allows older technologies to work more efficiently. This also helps with the world's e-waste problem, because more old technologies are viable for longer.
